Coastal and marine areas are incredibly dynamic and productive oceanic regions, providing significant resources and services for both wildlife and people. They are also subject to intense pressures from agricultural
\n and industry pollution in waterways, dredging, and building development. Many national and regional programmes assess environmental health and human impact on our coasts, but these programmes are often fragmented,
\n short term, and uncoordinated at larger scales. MARCO-BOLO will address this problem by connecting existing initiatives, optimising and improving methods, and further innovating technologies for biodiversity observations.\n <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

RESTORE4Cs aims to assess the role of restoration action on wetlands climate change mitigation capacity and a wide range of ecosystem services using an integrative socio-ecological systems approach. Focusing on coastal
\n wetlands across Europe, RESTORE4Cs will deliver standardised methodologies and approaches for the prioritisation of restoration promoting carbon-storage and greenhouse gasses (GHG) emissions abatement, while improving
\n the ecological status and the provision of additional ecosystem services such as flood regulation and coastal erosion protection. Project results will support the implementation of Climate and Biodiversity policies
\n in the context of the European Green Deal. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Restore4Life demonstrates the socio-economic benefits of a comprehensive approach to restoring freshwater and coastal wetlands in the Danube basin. Creating new blue-green infrastructure for climate resilience, the
\n project aims to showcase enhanced ecosystem services, including water and pollutant retention, carbon sequestration, tourism opportunities, and overall habitat resilience. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

BioAgora is a collaborative European project funded by the Horizon Europe programme. It aims to connect research results on biodiversity to the needs of decision-making in a targeted dialogue between scientists, other
\n knowledge holders and policy actors. BioAgora will develop a Science Service for Biodiversity (SSBD) that fully supports the ecological transition required by the European Green Deal and the European Union\u2019s Biodiversity
